Indian Students Study abroad for Better Future

The appeal of studying abroad has skyrocketed among Indian students and parents. Over the years, many Indian students have chosen to study overseas. The number of Indian students who went overseas for higher study surged by more than 58% in 2021 compared to the previous year, when universities worldwide were closed due to lockdowns, according to data from the Bureau of Immigration. This was true despite the COVID-19 pandemic widespread distribution. As many as 2,60,312 Indian students went abroad for their studies in 2020, while in 2021, this number went up to 4,45,498. The spending by Indian parents to sponsor the foreign education of their children is also going up.

Degrees from internationally renowned overseas universities are your route to high-paid professions everywhere, including India. Higher average placements are found at internationally famous universities than at Indian institutes. A comparative study found that graduates from specific Indian institutions received average yearly wages between $5,000 and $10,000, while graduates from UK universities earned between $80,000 and $1,000,000 annually.
